Summary of Product Owner Duties Product Vision- I worked with the Product Manager (PM) to define the overall scope of the product vision. Creating a roadmap and communication to the development team and stakeholders a clear path to delivering the value this solution provides to the end users. I worked with PM, delivery team and stakeholders to organize and perform Program Implementation Planning (PI Planning). Backlog Management- I worked with the scrum team, SMEs and Product Manager to prioritize the list of features, enhancements, and bug fixes, that need to be implemented within the sprint cycles defined during PI planning. I prioritized based on the value, dependencies, and risk. I communicated these priorities to the business stakeholders, the OM and the Scum teams during sprint planning. Using JIRA to manage the backlog, I created EPICs based on the body of features provided by the PM and expanded the list of user stories requirements during grooming sessions. I led business grooming sessions to define the requirements and translate those requirements into a user story format, then presented those users stories to the delivery team to provide effort estimates. I worked with the scrum master and scrum to define sprint schedules and adjust priorities based on first use dates and delivery team capacity. I communicated to stakeholders the outcomes of sprint activities and facilitated demos of the delivered functionality to the end users. Requirement Elicitation and Grooming- I collaborated with client partner’s end users, SMEs and data analysis to understand the requirements and then translate those requirements into user stories. I created clear actionable content that is testable and focused on delivering to the end user. I communicated the finalized feature’s user stories with incorporated feedback and effort estimates to stakeholders and delivery team.
