Following a brief but exciting time in the fashion industry, there came a time of total devotion to starting a family business manufacturing a specialized type of welding wire: chrome carbide overlay. These products are used for maintenance and repair in industries such as quarrying, mining and notably in the Alberta oil sands. Currently, I am responsible for daily operations including inside sales, purchasing, logistics, human resources as well as the creation of chemical formulas for product line development.
