'Digital Business' is a new post-graduate professional curriculum, set up by Karel de Grote Hogeschool and Antwerp Management School. As Program Director I'm responsible for the overall course strategy and making sure that the students can apply the professional experts' knowledge to their own business case.

When the city of Antwerp decided to go "digital first", I developed a digital strategy, based on a few core principles. The idea was to not get stuck in technology, be more ambitious than making a 'good website' and lay the foundations for the city as a platform, as a set of APIs.

I was responsible for all things social media. I developed a framework to analyse all social media channels, made a customer response scheme, integrated social/conversation into the thinking and the workflow of both the editorial and the marketing team and developed a strategy for social advertising.

We conceived & developed communication solutions and concepts that were based on a deep understanding of social & digital media, but that are firmly rooted in human reality.

Pixelspew was a network of filmmakers and creatives. We made music videos, web content for the BBC, commercials and developed brand identities. We created a digital content strategy for VPRO 3VOOR12 as well as curated the first mobile content show for MTV/Motorola.

I worked on various music tv formats, as a director, producer and senior producer. I was part of the R&D team that developed new formats for the European and US network.
