I am a Geoscientist with a focus on chemical reactions at Earth's surface. Currently I am part of the Netherlands Earth System Science Center, where I investigate processes related to particles in natural aquatic systems, e.g. rivers and the ocean, but also the general functioning of the reactions involved. For this purpose I use statistical and mechanistic models, but also experiments, covering a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. In short, I am interested in how the world around and below us works and what this means for us as humans.I am always interested in discussion and collaboration.
