I am currently developing a number of gaming experiences both with other people as well as within my own studio under Kittanda Design. As of October 2018, after finishing my Masters in Design Innovation, I have started to upload some assets to various online stores such as Game Development Market and the Unity Asset store (Although this is slow going with my committments to freelance projects). Helped the Media Design department create an Augmented Reality application for a client using Unity. I was responsible for programming a system that would recognize images and then have a series of 3D objects be displayed at the location that could be interacted with at various levels of engagement depending on the audience group. There were 3 groups that needed to be able to be chosen from, each with increasing levels of interaction. The program also allowed the designer of the experience to enter lines of text that would be interpreted by the program to do various things like trigger animations, allow for interaction, or just display text on the screen. It was great working on this educational project with The Gibson Group. Usually, I work more on the Creative Design side of things, but for this project, I solely worked on programming and animation. It was really great to see I still have a passion for coding. A+ place to work for!

Researching a methodology for creating immersive interactive experiences in VR gaming and gamification. Primary focus on using real-world precedents to better understand how we should adopt those to VR gaming. Check out my blog to see how things are going.

Worked as asset creator in Maya LT and Substance Painter as well as Photoshop, and coder in Unity for a Virtual Reality Experience. The idea was to create a vision of an optimistic future for government in NZ in regards to housing, teaching, and the environment. The Wrestler team is arguably one of the best group of people to work with, with a relaxed atmosphere and passionate bunch of designers.

Stayed for a year in Canberra when my wife got a job opportunity for a year there. Worked as a CSR at these two companies part time. Ended due to moving back to Wellington, New Zealand.
