Gerrit Wunder is an award-winning composer based in Los Angeles, California. He is the composer of over 40 films (features, documentaries and TV), commercials, trailers, studio logos and virtual reality projects.He has scored virtual reality games like “Jurassic World VR Expedition” (Universal), contributed music for hit shows like DC’s Stargirl (Warner Bros) and blockbusters like Netflix’s Slumberland or Dreamworks’ Postman Pat – The Movie. Wunder composed the music for independent movies like the western Dead Men (Sony Entertainment), TV movies and nature documentaries for Lifetime, Red Bull Media and the BBC.Other credits include commercials for brands like Hewlett Packard, Samsung, Ducati or Husqvarna, trailers and TV promos. His music has been licensed in over 200 countries and networks like NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, Discovery Channel, BBC and ORF, including shows such as Cold Case and America’s Got Talent.A recipient of the BMI Pete Carpenter Award, the Utah Film Awards and the Global Music Awards, Wunder has, among others, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and Fox Studios with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as well as  the Hollywood Studio Symphony. He is holding a masters degree in composition and piano from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Austria). Gerrit is an avid collector and player of unusual bowed string instruments, like the octave violin or the uku-viol and rare electric violas. He’s also a modular synth enthusiast.
