As Division President-Coastal South, Gerrit will lead the operations of one of the South’s premier master planned communities, Savannah Quarters, a 2,600-acre development located 12 miles West of Savannah, Georgia.

General Manager for Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, SC.Responsibilities include oversight of the management of Palmetto Bluff Sales, Marketing and Operations (Resort, Club & POA).

•Responsible for the planning and development activities for all Reed Development residential properties comprising 5,000 acres. •President of Reed Development’s flagship community, Hampton Lake that was named the 2008 “Community of the Year” by the National Association of Homebuilders. •Assembled top tier management team including hiring a VP of Marketing, General Manager of Club, Sales Administrator and key sales executives.•Manager of sales team of 9 selling executives that have contributed to over $100M in sales at Hampton Lake.•Oversight of all community development departments including marketing, sales, accounting, construction, land development, accounting and club.•Conduct quarterly Board meetings to report on progress of Community Development division of Reed Development to investors and partners.•Key communicator and Reed Development representative to the greater Bluffton and Hilton Head Community. Host Developer Chats with property owners and conduct State of the Community breakfasts with key local contacts and area real estate brokers.

•Managed 40 employees including department heads of Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Club Operations, Land Development, and Vertical Development.•Accountable to Hampton Hall partners for all profit and loss decisions for the $145 million revenue project.•Created a cohesive work environment through team building exercises and restructuring work responsibilities.•Led team to record breaking sales in 2004 and 2005. Record sales shortened project length by two years.•Cut overhead and interest expense by $5 million. •Increased project revenue by $15 million.
