About Germán Rodrigo

Entrepreneur and adventurer by nature, I strongly believe that new opportunities for learning and growth can be found everywhere, as we have much to learn from each other. Thus, learning constitutes the foundation of my life outlook and work ethic.During my studies, I built a small business from scratch with a partner and worked as a Managing Editor for 3.5 years until I moved to India to work as a Business Consultant for one year.During my studies, I built a small business from scratch with a partner and worked as a Managing Editor for 3.5 years until I moved to India to work as a Business Consultant for one year.After an intense year in India, I started a solo trip and what was supposed to be a 3-month trip in SE Asia turned into a 1-year around the world trip. I finished the trip in Madrid with no money so it was time to look for a job. I started working in the sales department at MainTool and quickly became the Commercial Director. After a crazy year and a half at MainTool, I realized I needed a change and started working at Spotahome as a Key Account Manager to then become the Regional Manager/City Manager of a team of 10+ people. I felt I was doing a good job but I wanted to improve my analytical skills so I moved to the Insights department. After Spotahome I moved to Australia for one and a half years and started working for different clients as a freelancer until I started working at Vampr. I started managing all the paid ads and the growth strategy to then become the Product Manager of Vampr Academy, one of the biggest projects of the company for 2022. Each of these experiences offered challenging environments in their own respective ways, which taught me more than just skills and competencies such as cross-cultural communication, adapting to new cultural contexts and negotiating between values and business cultures. It also reinforced a commitment to personal and professional development as well as exploring unfamiliar terrain.I am constantly looking for new challenges that allow me to work, grow, and learn in an energetic and dynamic environment.
