I conduct reviews of complicated files that have gone before the courts or are about to. My work consists of breaking down an investigation and reviewing/following up from a third party perspective. It is crucial that investigators keep an open mind in order to seek the truth when conducting investigations. Sometimes, tunnel vision gets in the way. I follow up on all potential leads that may have been overlooked. The work is miticulous and requires some openness and analytical background at times.

Retired with almost 36 years completed. Hired as a Reservist and conducted a Review on one of the Specialised Units. I worked for a private law firm reviewing police investigations. I am available for work on short contracts that fit my background.

I worked with this film company as a consultant concerning a double homicide I investigated as a member of the RCMP. This is a true story filmed by this company and aired in January 2020 as the Premiere episode of CBC Season 3 of the THE DETECTIVES “Mother and Son”.

I am in a newly created temporary position that may become permanent at a later date. I am the Line Officer responsible for overseeing General Investigations Section (GIS), Major Crime Unit (MCU), Drug Section, Street Crime, Youth at Risk, Crime Prevention, Criminal Intelligence, Ident, Dog Section, Court Section and OCC (telecoms). I am presently on leave and pre-retirement leave. I officially retire on August 8th 2014.

I am acting in a Supt. position in the newly created Southeast district. This district takes in the previous districts 3, 4, 5 and 11. There are approximately 180 police officers as well as support staff, including public servants and civilian members totalling 222.5. The O I/c is responsible for managing all of southeast NB excluding the greater Moncton area. The Senior Management Team includes myself, an Inspector, three S/Sgts, and an HR Training Assistant. 8 Sgt. Ops NCOs each oversee a detachment. As well, we have a Sgt. managing Major Crime Unit, a Sgt. I/c of Crime Reduction Unit and a Sgt. I/c of Ident. Three Community Program Officers work with youth at risk.

Officer i/c Criminal Operations, 2nd i/c of Codiac RCMP Municipal policing. This detachment is comprised of 143 police officers and several support staff including OCC/911 Telecoms. My position answers to the Supt. O i/c of Codiac RCMP. I have been in this position since August 2011, commissioned in February 2012. Directly responsible for Front Line policing ( 90 +-) police officers including Traffic and Call Back Unit . We serve the communities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview.

District Commander overseeing all administrative and operational files. 27 police officers, 5 Admin Assistance. Rural policing including Irishtown, Salisbury, Petitcodiac, Hillsborough, Alma and surrounding communities. 2 person GIS and one Community Programs Officer.

In charge of serious crimes including all homicides in RCMP jurisdiction from Woodstock, NB to PEI and NS borders. As well, I was i/c of J Div Internet Child Exploitation (ICE). I was with MCU from it's creation in 1995 as a Cpl., then Sgt. Ops NCO And then in 2005 as unit commander. Worked in Kosovo under UN/NATO for 6 weeks as one of 5 Canadians with responsibilities of gathering evidence against Slobodan Milosevic for the genocide of ethnic Albanians in former Yugoslavia (2000).

As a Cpl., I was responsible for an investigative team of highly motivated members (2) working serious crimes throughout south east and south west New Brunswick. As Sgt, I was responsible for both investigative teams and 2nd in charge of Major Crime Unit until my promotion to S/Sgt as I/c of MCU South and ICE.

Worked on gathering intelligence for the RCMP in regards to criminal organizations and liaised with many law enforcement and outside agencies.

Worked on drug investigations as an investigator and "Cover Man" role on undercover operations. Worked conspiracy files within and outside of NB.

Constable working General Duty in the Lepreau/Westfield area of the Saint John RCMP Detachment. Worked in uniform doing front line policing, MVA, criminal code offenses and some excise acts.

Worked in the greater Chicoutimi area as well as Quebec City and Mtl from time to time.
