I am an experienced senior manager with 20 years housing experience and 10 years working at the highest levels with Boards, Cabinets and Local Government.I was the Interim Chief Executive at Brent Housing Partnership for three years and I was also the Director of Technical Services for 11 years. I have five years of experience working in the construction industry in the private sector. In 2005 I became responsible for BHP’s DLO and I turned an organisation that was losing £500k annually into a highly performing team which is generating a 14% annual surplus and has made a £2.5 million pound profit.I have a strong passion for improving the quality of life and customer experiences of tenants and leaseholders. I am a respected, straight talking leader who engages and develops teams to improve performance through influence and personal commitment to ensuring customers get the best deal. I have undertaken six different posts during my employment with BHP and London Borough of Brent plus undertaken consultancy projects at several other landlords and I am very experienced in turnaround and transformation of services within tight timescales and limited resources.
