About Gerry Dworkin

Lifesaving Resources, LLC. (lifesaving.com) is dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. The company develops Aquatics Safety, Lifeguarding, Water Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, and Ice Rescue training programs and conducts this training throughout the U.S. and internationally, for the Public Safety and Rescue, as well as the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation Sectors. Dworkin has written and published over 40 articles and has consulted as a Forensics Expert in over 270 drowning and aquatic injury cases to date. He has appeared as a subject matter expert on CNN; MSNBC News; ABC's Good Morning America; NBC's Today Show; CBS' Early Show; The Weather Channel; The Discovery Channel; and The History Channel. Dworkin has been a Firefighter and EMT for over 35 years, and is currently with the Kennebunkport Fire Department in Kennebunkport, Maine. He serves on the Board of Directors for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, and on an Advisory Board for the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
