Over the next 17 years, I grew the company into one of Canada’s fastest-growing businesses, earning a spot as the 14th fastest-growing company on the 2012 Profit 500 list. During my time as CEO, I developed advanced composite manufacturing processes such as VARTM, Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP), and electroplating on composites.Throughout my journey, I secured contracts with major tier 1 aerospace companies, working on high-profile projects, including the development of tooling and production parts for the high-performance BAC Mono sports car. I also introduced TFP technology to aerospace in North America and co-developed an FST-compliant epoxy infusion resin system for aerospace interiors applications.One of my proudest achievements was partnering with "Own the Podium" to co-invent a snowboard race plate, which Jasey Jay Anderson used to win gold at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. In 2016, I successfully led the sale of Apex Composites to Rampf Gruppe, which opened the door to new opportunities.Since then, I’ve continued to pursue innovative ventures, including founding Formula Solutions Inc., and remain committed to advancing the field of composites technology.
