With 39 year’s experience in foreign direct investment at IDA Ireland one of the world's leading inward investment agencies I gained considerable experience having held senior positions in a number of different Divisions.As VP of Pharmaceuticals (1993- 2019) I was actively involved in attracting a wide range of healthcare companies to Ireland including several of the largest multinationals. Many of these companies have now established several operations in Ireland (API - Formulation - Medical Devices - Biotech - Shared Services). In the last decade over €10billion has been invested in the biotech sector alone.As senior manager in Consumer Products (1989-1993) I actively promoted Ireland as the best location for a wide variety of projects in the consumer product industry.As a senior manager in IDA’s Property Division (1979-1989) I was responsible for providing property solutions for inward investment companies. This included providing turnkey operations for some companies.As a consultant I am currently providing a wide range of assistance to multinational companies located in Ireland and helping new entrants find the ultimate solution. I am also actively involved in connecting key suppliers to investing companies through my extensive contacts.
