While working in health care in a variety of settings--day health programs, long term care, mental health, hospitals--writing remained a constant source of sustenance for me, like food. Another passion for teaching in higher education developed over the 30 plus years of my career in health care. My goals include continuing to teach psychology and human service at University of Phoenix, publish a book of poems over the next two years, branch out into teaching writing and literature, and link my writing and health care experience by developing essays out of the many stories I have to tell from those years of helping others.Specialties: Writing, creative and otherwise; public speaking; teaching psychology, human service and writing; research; psychotherapy.
