I also work as a Traditional Arts Event Programmer. Other activities in which I am involved include planning and producing music education events and learning festivals. Lughnasa Music is my Music Label with which I produce albums of traditional music and song. My most recent activity is performing with "Oirialla", a new band of well established professional artists performing traditional music and song from the south Ulster area see www.oiriallamusic.comI have recently received an Irish Arts Council Bursary to enable me produce publish a collection of dance music from my region.

I teach Traditional fiddle playing at workshops throughout the world and have worked as a music coach on Film and drama productions.

LouthAs Part-time Assistant Lecturer in Traditional Music; Theory and Performance in Dundalk Institute of Technology, I was responsible for organizing and preparing over one hundred students for performance exams and concerts in each academic year. I also organized student music events, charity fund-raising events and non-college events with the students. I initiated and developed links with other colleges (University of Ulster, Magee and Rauland, Norway), which resulted in cross-cultural exchanges and visits. During this time I completed a MA by research in the graphic and aural interpretation, realization and critical re-presentation of Luke Donnelan’s Dance Music of Oriel, the work of an early-twentieth century music collector.
