Gerard (Gerry) Rooney mosshaselhurst SolicitorsI was born and educated in Northern Ireland before graduating from Liverpool University in 1976 with an honours LLB degree in law. After completing my professional exams I trained in Liverpool before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1980 accumulating a wealth of skill and experience in business and law specialising in Litigation. I have represented many clients and achieved successful outcomes in a variety of Court and Civil Litigation cases including Personal Injury (I was a founder member of APIL), Employment, Landlord and Tenant, Debt Collection and disputes including partnership, building and property. I joined Moss & Haselhurst, as it was then known, in 1982 becoming a partner in 1983, senior partner in 1998 and Managing Director of the incorporated practice Moss Law Limited trading as mosshaselhurt solicitors in 2012. I enjoy time at music festivals, (veteran of Hyde Park, Glastonbury and others) and playing golf as a member of Sandiway and Porthmadog Golf Clubs and supporting rugby and football. I particularly enjoyed my time as President of the Cheshire and North Wales Law Society in 2015/16, likewise my position on the Executive Board of the Northwich Business Improvement District which is doing fantastic work to promote and support the development of Northwich town centre.
