My practice focuses on a broad range of real estate, lending law and other general business transactions. I represent commercial and residential sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants, developers, contractors, lenders, consultants, brokers, public utilities and school boards in a variety of transactions involving real property, including the sale, lease, development, financing, re-financing and construction of offices, shopping centers, apartment complexes, condominiums (residential, mixed-use and commercial), residential subdivisions, agricultural land, raw acreage, utility facilities, hotels, school facilities and other real property. I frequently negotiate and draft purchase and sale contracts, deeds, mortgages, leases (retail, office and ground), listing agreements, restrictive covenants, easements, licenses, collateral assignments, and a variety of other agreements related to real estate. I am also a title agent for multiple title underwriters and conduct various commercial and residential closings.I also regularly advise clients on Article 9 secured transactions, construction contracts, distressed asset acquisitions and dispositions, loan workouts and restructurings, and condominium and property owner association law.I am board certified by The Florida Bar in the area of Real Estate and "AV" rated by the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory. Board certification is The Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation and denotes “Legal Expert” status. Only lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional ability receive a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of “AV.”
