I'm originally from Biddeford, Maine and I now live in Berlin, CT with my wife of 42 years, Jenny, who recently retired after 38 years as a Health Teacher in the Bristol, CT school system. I retired as the GM of the New Britain Bees in October 2017 to take a position with New Britain High School as the Work-Based Learning Liaison and work with the students who currently participate in the Academy of Finance, the Academy of Health Sciences, the Academy of Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology (MET) and the Academy of Public Service and Child Development. I conduct workshops on workforce development (essential skills), career fairs and work with the Greater New Britain business community to help secure paid internships for these students. I am also an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach and I am so proud to be a part of the staff and "Hurricane Pride" at New Britain High School.I was the Executive Vice President/General Manager of the New Britain Red Sox/New Britain Rock Cats from 1984-1999. Notable players included; Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell, Roger Clemens, Ellis Burks, Curt Schilling, Torii Hunter and Hall of Famer David Ortiz.I had the privilege of playing professional baseball for the Billings, Mustangs in Billings, Montana the Class A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds organization in 1975-1976.
