During the first part of my career in the business-to-business world, I supported corporate account clients with highly-efficient, cost-effective office technology solutions. Working with company directors and operations managers, I learnt the importance of two business fundamentals: cutting costs and improving productivity.The next part of my career took me into property development and property rental, where I learnt about energy-saving and productivity-enhancing technology. As a property developer, I became familiar with LED lighting systems; ground heat pumps; bio-mass boilers; solar panels and a whole lot of other cutting-edge, energy-saving technology.As a property landlord, the installation of features like low-energy lighting, with the promise of low electricity bills, helped me rent out my properties more easily.
