Chief Customer Rescue Officer
CurrentMy goal in life, and in business, is to track down bad service, tap it on the shoulder and ask it to leave. My beliefs, and the theme of my approach, are founded on the concept of simplicity and aligning 4 fundamental principles, Culture, Commitment, Communication and Community that are vital to the development and sustainability of a truly customer centric organization. As The Customer Lifeguard I help businesses save customers at risk and breathe life into their customer service operations and customer experience strategyI provide strategic, operational and educational support through keynote presentations, workshops, seminars and consultancy engagements based on the Four Principles that underpin Customer Inspired Thinking as the driver for improvement. I've designed and run workshops on customer experience and provided consultancy for some of the largest companies in the UK, Canada, and EMEAI'm not afraid to tell someone that their baby's ugly and to deliver straight talking, no-nonsense advice and practical solutions to help companies step out of their siloed comfort zones. Many "consultants" tell customers what they want to hear. I tell them what they don't want to hear.I cajole and encourage them to take a long hard look at themselves, how their customers see them and their adoption of the four principles. I help them understand and utilize these key principles by aligning them with human interactions, process reinvention and operational improvements, to overcome the barriers to delivering a great customer experience.
