I have 37 year’s structural steelwork experience in various sectors. My experience profile extends to Construction, Design, Welding, Operations, Quality and CE marking requirements. Following a successful corporate career I set up Welding Quality Management Services in July 2012. The primary focus of the business is to work with companies to help them achieve CE marking certification. This is achieved through a combination of mentoring, training and consultancy. With my extensive management skills I bring to the client a thorough understanding of the steel fabrication process. I can ascertain the quality needs of a business and empower them to achieve the required quality level with respect to the regulatory requirements of CE marking.I am very experienced in CE marking requirements and have assisted a number of steelwork companies achieve certification. I am also fully familiar with quality systems and specialise in the structural steelwork sector because of my experience of working in this environment. I have a BEng degree from the University of Limerick, an MSc degree from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and an IWE diploma from the German based GSI SLV in Duisburg. I am a qualified lead auditor for ISO 9001 and an assessor for ISO 3834. I am also a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Member of the Welding Institute.
