I am a highly motivated and reliable Seismic Source Mechanic. My core competences inlcude mechanical and electrical maintenance , quality control and technical analytical skills, personnel management and organisational skills. I am experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment on various marine seismic exploration vessels worldwide carrying out 2D, 3D, 4D and OBN projects using various marine sources including Gemini. I have been employed in Marine Seismic Exploration for over 16 years within various companies. I have gained over 37 years mechanical engineering experience, with 22 years in the British Royal Navy as a Senior Aircraft Engineering Technician. As Mechanical Shift Leader I am responsible for all mechanical and electrical maintenance of in-sea seismic equipment, streamer and umbilical hydraulic winches and in sea seismic high-pressure air sources, quality control of high energy air sources while keeping technical downtime to a minimum ensuring compliance with all company safety and maintenance procedures. I have also been a member of environmental and safety teams in these roles. I am motivated by new challenges and opportunities to diversify and expand my skills and knowledge in senior roles within the field of marine seismic exploration.
