Gerry Seidman is a serial entrepreneur with experience across a broad range of industries and technologies in which he has had founding leadership roles as CEO, CTO, and Lead Software Architect at seven start-ups. Seidman is a well-regarded expert in the design and implementation of complex, secure, high-performance, high-availability and fault tolerant distributed systems where he has been active on both business and technology side of the ideation and realization of products in the Financial Service, Telecommunication, IoT, Cybersecure Infrastructure, Mobile, Web3, and Collaborative/P2P spaces. Throughout his career he has repeatedly built and managed strong technology teams to develop product lines at multiple companies towards achieving visionary technical and business goals. In addition to his strong analytic/mathematical, software architecture/development, AI/ML, managerial and business skills, he is an enthusiastic evangelist, mentor, public speaker, organizer, and networker. He brings with him his extensive network of relationships from engineers to executives along with his uncanny ability to make connections and create opportunities.Involvement in developing the NY technology ecosystem is a personal and professional passion for him, specifically focusing on helping make NYC become a world-class center for new and existing companies that leverage Machine Learning, AI and Blockchain/Smart-Contracts across multiple domains. To that end he co-organizes a private monthly salon/roundtable bringing together leading academic/industrial researchers, business leaders and investors that share this vision. He is also an advisor to New York Technology Counsel with their involvement in these areas towards achieving their mission: to represent, inspire, support, and help lead the New York technology community and ecosystem to create a better future for all.
