For years I've worked in business, trade & industry, in various capacities, from process development and quality management to jobs in the online domain, such as digital analytics, online strategy and digital transformation. Apart from being a consultant, knowledge sharing and training were always essential parts of my task. I developed training material and took care of training and inspirational sessions at PostNL, Royal Philips and Digital Power. I acted as a coach for junior consultants. I also performed as a speaker at several seminars.In 1988 I obtained my certificate MO-Mathematics. Back then I didn't choose for education, but was trained to be a mathematician in business. In 2014 I obtained my Cambridge Certificate C1 and in September 2018 I started the parttime study HBO Teacher of English at Hogeschool Arnhem-Nijmegen. My studyplan at the HAN is based on acquiring my diploma within 3 years. At the end of my first academic year (June 2019) I had obtained half of my study points, plus my Cambridge Certificate C2. I will graduate in June 2021, with an expected average grade of around 8.5. The past two academic years I have been working as a full-fletched teacher at the Elde College. In my experiences with training, presenting and coaching I discovered I am intuitively skilled in explaining theory in an inspiring, motivating and safe way. I am very interested in and focused on people. I am creative, analytical and structured. I have proficient language skills in Dutch and English, I am a very strong communicator and a strongly driven and enthusiastic human being. I am results orientated with a big sense of responsibility and integrity. I am also a fast thinker, empathic and persisting.In my work authenticity, humor and trustworthiness are indispensable values.
