Manage and develop the Propulsion System Services sales in the Middle East & Asia Area to achieve sales growth, margin and profitability targets. Develop long term Propulsion System Services competitiveness, growth and profitability by ensuring proactive sales and salessupport in the Area reporting to Vice President, Propulsion System Services.Responsibilities:- Create, develop and execute the Propulsion System Services strategy especially related to sales and market development to ensure business growth, together with the Area Service Units and Account Managers.- Manage and develop product sales activities.- Develop and lead the sales and sales support team in the area and create well workingrelationships with the sales teams.- Agree targets and action plans for product sales organisation in close cooperation with Area Sales teams and Product Management.- Innovate, develop and support the concepts, processes and applications for Sales to provide added value for our internal and external customers and enable the well-working customer relationships, processes and practices.- Ensure development of customer portals as well as Portal Support for both internal and external customers.- Maintain and develop marketing activities and processes for creating and delivering offerings that create value for our customers.- Conduct market research to identify and define opportunities for future business growth.- Contribute to sales competence management and development of Propulsion sales support resources in the Propulsion Product Line and in the Areas.

Managing the entire Technology Department including the sub-departments of technology (investments), engineering (hydrodynamical & mechanical), maintenance, work preparation, QA/QC and Project Management. Comprehensive understanding of foundry (NiAlBronze), machining processes, engineering, maintenance required to manufacture the finished products and QA/QC (including marine classification society regulations). Responsibilities:- Implementation and supervision of QA/QC procedures- Coordination of propeller design- Management of capacity increase- Planning and implementing ideas to enhance productivity- Planning and implementing new investments- Work preparation procedures- Maintenance of machines- Assistance to sales- Project ManagementDue to the central function asTechnical Director effectively and pro-actively interface with the departments of Sales, Production, Administration and Finance.Description various duties:- Developing and implementing Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans- Managing the Design Department which is tasked with the preparation of hydrodynamic and mechanical design of propellers and mechanical design ofshaft lines with associated calculations.- Manage, coach, train and stimulate the staff of the design, maintenance, work preparation, QA/QC department and technology personnel- Assess production methods of the joint venture and propose alternative methods aimed at increase of efficiency, further development of quality and reduction of production costsWärtsilä nominated expatriate and only foreigner in the joint-venture:- Actively participate and enhance the communication towards global Wärtsilä units in issues concerning customer projects, product quality and any kind of technical support needed.- Act as the foreign representative and representative of Wärtsilä in the joint venture towards thecustomer in customer meetings and/or Chinese delegations.
