About Gert Dam

My background in reciprocating machinery (pumps, compressors, gas-engines) and passion for electronics & analytics have been combined into products and services developed and supplied by IMBU BV. We partner with leading industrial OEM's in order to seamlessly merge electronics & machines empowering OEM's to innovate their service models.Although my roots are in reciprocating industrial machines, nowadays we have a strong presence in the offshore industry which requires long battery life, fully submergible products, completely wireless and a high level of robustness.The past years we have developed a wireless time-sync set-up which enables synchronisation of wireless sensor-nodes to around 3µs, enabling simple low-cost time-waveform acquisition (mechanical vibrations, acoustics etc.) which can be used for e.g. operational modal analysis.
