SCALE is a three-year project (2022-2024) co-funded by the new Horizon Europe Programme. It aims to advance smart charging infrastructure and facilitate the mass deployment of electric vehicles. The project will reduce uncertainties around the roll-out of smart charging, interoperable and V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) / V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) solutions, whether these are technical, organizational, economic, social or policy-related, and help shape a new energy eco-system wherein the flexibility of EV batteries’ is harnessed. A consortium of 29 partners composed of leading European cities, universities and knowledge partners, charging infrastructure companies, electric vehicle (EV) industry pioneers and more will steer the project. I am the project leader for this project on behalf of the City of Utrecht. In SCALE, the City of Utrecht will become a worldwide showcase and testbed for large-scale adoption of V2G/V2X, becoming the first region in the world with a bidirectional ecosystem. In SCALE, 500 V2G enabled cars and 3 000 V2X charging points will be demonstrated as part of a city-wide flexibility experiment. The cars will be used in a car sharing scheme as an integral element of energy neutral all-electric new housing districts, since all cars are owned by one professional entity, charging is easily bundled and centrally managed. Together with the fleet of the local car-sharing operator WeDriveSolar, this V2X-eco system will gradually be expanded to 1.000 V2G ready vehicles. Bij de Baak ondersteunde ik klanten om de impact van online media te vertalen naar de eigen praktijk. Dit deed ik onder andere door het verzorgen van trainingen, workshops, interactieve presentaties of als dagvoorzitter.Ook was ik aanjager en facilitator van het gebruik van sociale media door de Baak zelf, waarin ik o.a. het Twitter-kanaal @deBaak (www.twitter.com/deBaak) en de LinkedIn community van de Baak (http://ow.ly/8TxYN ) opgebouwd en gemanaged heb, i.s.m. collega's.

In deze functie initieerde, produceerde en faciliteerde ik de productie van nieuwe media content voor de Baak. In verschillende vormen: online video, narrowcasting, podcasting, mobile learning via mobile devices, weblogs en sociale media. Ook verzorgde ik trainingen in content productie en in het gebruik van nieuwe media tools.
