As a software engineer, I have gained valuable experience through my involvement in various projects, including:• Leading the conversion of a single-tenant software to a SaaS-ready product, handling sensitive data with utmost security. I managed the rapid increase in traffic while continuously adding new features, and ensured the high-level architecture of the line of products evolved accordingly.• Maintaining and enhancing a cloud-based software stack, which involved managing the Kubernetes cluster and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.• Collaborating closely with Business Development colleagues, providing technical expertise in decision-making and guiding the development of new features.

DLCNet: Document Localization and Classification Network -- I researched a novel way of detecting and accurately localizing identity documents (e.g. passports, identity cards and drivers licences) in images. Furthermore I integrated a classification pipeline to also determine the exact type of identity document. After a successful research attempt results of the project were finetuned and used in a production environment.
