Have published both FE and Integral Equation solutions for Ultrasonic, Eddy Current and Barkhausen noise. Recent work made on - Modeling/studies of Barkhausen noise method, for grinding burn and case depth determination, by parametric investigation of sensors and influence of material structure.- Probability Of Detection (POD) investigating parametric models vs stochastical computation on deterministic models for UT and developing strategy for building Meta-models.- Modelling of Laser UT (LUS) for AM details (Additive manufacturing).Software experience:- Matlab/Simulink/Simscape/AppDesigner for building GUI and Platform integrating VSim and CST in both a Win and Unix env. Some Python scripting in PyCharm.- Comsol Multiphysics in the research projects and using Catia V5 GPS/GAS as an integrated FE-tool in the teaching of Applied Finite Element Analysis. Comsol Application Builder on server for creating GUI.- Experience of FE software Abaqus, K-Wave, Pro/Mechanica/Creo, IDEAS- ModeFRONTIER for design optimization and multi-objective optimization algorithms.- simSUNDT for simulation of complete Ultrasonic testing situations.Teaching experience:Have given courses, on all academic levels, in mechanics, strength of materials/solid mechanics, machine design and non-destructive testing. Supervisor of more than 140 M.Sc. and B.Sc/B.Eng degree-theses/diploma work in both machine design and product development.
