Client responsibilities:• Audit engagements of Dutch listed companies and significant subsidiaries of foreign groups in industrial and consumer markets, construction, transportation and information, communication and entertainment, including private equity investments• Advisory engagements, including Initial Public Offerings, Delistings, Mergers & Acquisitions, Valuations, Due Diligence Investigations, Accounting Advice (incl. second opinions), Split-ups, IFRS conversion projects, courses• Concurring Review Partner for high risk audit engagements (mainly listed companies in the Netherlands and abroad)• IFRS Reviewing Partner (for conversion projects and IFRS financial statements)Management responsibilities:• Member of the regional Management Team (overseeing some 25 audit partners and some 400 staff)• Professional Practice Partner (responsible for Quality, Knowledge and Compliance in the region)• HR Partner (responsible for talent management and development of some 150 staff)• Quality Reviews• Initiator of the IFRS Task Force (transferring IFRS knowledge to KPMG partners and managers, staffing and monitoring of IFRS conversion projects, sharing conversion issues, organising training sessions for clients as well as KPMG staff)
