I am a structural analyst and designer specialising in composites, I have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and with 8 years at Epsilon Engineering Services for and 1.5 years at Paramount Aerospace Industries. I have been involved with numerous projects, 60% of which have been composite manufacturing projects and the rest has been development projects. Recent projects have required me to determine load cases and subsequently designing the structure for UAV components and Drones. I have recently developed an interest in automation and have since attended small courses on Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Linux in my spare time.
