Duties and Responsibilities:• To vet and approve the T&C procedures proposed and submitted by the contractor for Electrical and auxiliary installation and witness those T&C procedures as specified.• Prepare test plans, supervise and coordinate commissioning activities for Power Transformers, Voltage Regulators, CB’s, PT’s, CT’s, HV Switches and Station Service Equipment and AC/DC System such as UPS, Chargers, Batteries and Transfer Switches.• Perform testing and commissioning of Gen-set and Synchronization panel.• Perform testing and commissioning for auxiliaries such as Building Management system, structured cabling system, Security and Door Access system, Barrier system, Public Address system, Background music, CCTV system, Duress alarm system and Fire detector alarm system including Fire Life & Safety.• Ensure that the commissioning obligations of the project are carried out in accordance with the terms of contract, quality and schedule in conformance with good practice of commissioning standards.• Ensures operation and performance are in compliance with the design criteria. Define and review method and action to ensure proper operations of equipment, system and plant.• Ensure all quality control records like test reports, equipment calibration certificates, design modification requests, commissioning anomaly reports, etc. for the works are progressively accumulated, indexed and available to support a phased systematic acceptance.• Set‐up, populate and maintain the databases to follow‐up and track the electrical commissioning work progress (i.e. the commissioning reports), the outstanding points (i.e. commissioning anomaly report), the hand over data or file for the energizing and operations.• Compile, consolidate and follow‐up the end of electrical commissioning reports and preparing the taking over of system or sub‐system for the Operation team.• Checks work design and technical specifications if implemented correctly on site.

 Supervises all related work activities and assigned tasks being done on site based on submitted and approved work sequence and methodology. Interprets and executes plans and specifications. Checks work design and technical specifications if implemented correctly on site. Resolves the cause of delay in target schedule and problems related to work activity. Coordinates and monitors subcontractor works on proper execution and compliance to quality plan. Furnishes subcontractors the plans/details needed as well as informing them of the changes or additive/deductive works on site. Evaluates and checks work accomplishment versus submitted billings. Coordinates the requisition, issuances and the timely delivery of required materials on site. Ensures that all materials to be installed comply with the approved submittals and tests. Conducts time and motion study and documents man hour productivity on assigned scope of works. Ensures the proper stock filing and safekeeping of the company-owned equipment/tools. Prepares the work activity reports for monitoring and update of Superintendent. Enforces the implementation of quality plans and objectives of the project. Accomplishes and prepares QA/QC checklist and daily report. Implements all environmental, health and safety rules as well as security regulations within his area of assignment. Coordinates with the Inspector regarding with Testing & Commissioning.

 Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas to apply quality standards. Conduct Inspection of Electrical works including electrical equipment supply, delivery and installation of auxiliary system (FDAS, CCTV, Telephone, Security System, and CATV). Inspect materials as they are delivered on site to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and contract specification. Present shop drawing regarding with the location of exposed layout including section details. Report to project in charge & project manager concerning the project development. Coordinates to other sub-contractor the problem encountered on site related to electrical works. Coordinates with the general contractor regarding schedule of pouring Coordinates general contractor on proper implementation and compliance to quality plan. Conducts joint inspection with Consultant inspector for approval of IWR. Prepare contractors daily report Prepare Inspection Work Request including Electrical checklist. Responsible for all quality test requirement.
