Tamna - art of events (ta-men-na = means make a wish) is an Event Company and a Destination Management Company (DMC) in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We do many prestigious Events for Bahrain Companies and are the Ground Handler for International Companies for Conferences and Incentives. In early 2020 I was engaged by Bahain International Circuit as a Project Manager to manage the build of a 500sqm Covid Arrivals tent at the Bahrain International Airport for the F1. The tent required separate areas for International Customs, Passport control, Covid Testing stations, and F&B outlet, quiet rooms, Conference rooms, duty-free, baggage restrooms, and shower ares.The unique and critical task was the timeline, design and erection within 5 working days. It included managing a team of 350 employees.Recently I worked for Al Dana Amphitheatre, built by Mumtalakat to be an internationally recognised venue for large scale entertainment events, hired as an consultant at the post-design and build of the Amphitheatre to advise and identify the management team on the operational issues and structural problems of the design specifically for the F&B front and back of house. Advising and consulting with the Master Plan Architect, Ministry of Works and Al Dana management on organisational requirements for a fully functional Event centre (F&B focused). Writing and evaluating tenders for Catering suppliers, POS system, Merchandize Shop, Alcohol Suppliers, Defining and writing standard operating procedures and Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the F&B Department.
