Hello, my name is Juliem Suarez (she/her). I am currently employed as a LegalAssistant at the Law Offices of Rosa M. Vega P.A., and a full-time student at FloridaInternational University. I am expected to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations,Advertising, and Applied Communications (PRAAC) in August of 2025. Once I have obtainedmy degree, I plan to pursue a career in the Public Relations and/or Marketing fields gearedtowards travel or mega-events.In the law office, we conduct real estate closings and prepare estate documents for clients.Some duties include assisting attorneys in the preparation of closings, such as requestingclosing packages, estoppels, payoffs, receiving wires, and overnighting packages to lenders.Estate matters include preparing prepares, Living Wills, and Healthcare Surrogate documents.For civil matters, preparing Summons, coordinating Service of Process, maintaining a calendar,and gathering documents for Request for Production are my main focuses.While at Florida International University, I have been a part of BOLD, a strategic communications agency, and have been placed on social media accounts for Clutch Burger, Real Connections, and FIUCOIL. Working on these accounts consisted of being the main point of communication betweenthe client and agency, developing multiple forms of content to advertise the company, studyinganalytics to find trending patterns to increase engagement, and creating collaborations betweenother brands.My peers and colleagues would describe me as a media and tech-savvy professional with adistinct eye for understanding cultural trends and inclusivity. A natural leader who can pitch, leadand inspire a team into a vision and success. I am a forward thinker and creative problem solverthat draws knowledge from my past education, travels, and background.In my free time, I tend to work on my business called SoFlo Yard Signs. I manage and marketsocial media and emails, speak directly with clients, prepare the inventory, and set up the signs.This side job gives me the opportunity to learn how to advertise and lets me grow creatively.I am currently looking for internships in the Public Relations and Marketing fields.
