In my initial role at Really B2B I was responsible for overseeing and developing alldigital-related content which passed through the studio. This responsibility gave me the opportunity to enhance my skills and evolve the agency’s digital design offering across websites, landing pages, HTML and interactive publications including playbooks, eBooks, tipsheets, mobile tipsheets and infographics.Becoming brand guardian for Really B2B allowed me to apply my specialist branding skillsin developing the brand style to better-suit the contemporary B2B space. I was also in constant communication with the Marketing Director and marketing team to ensure allpublic content was consistently on-brand.
Graphic Designer
At Thomas Sanderson I was the brand champion. My responsibilities entailed makingsure that all external and internal visual communications cohere with the brand guidelines, which I helped create and evolve during my two years at the company.My role as the in-house graphic designer included co-ordination with the marketing department, external agencies and suppliers on outbound marketing activities.I was involved in customer-facing campaigns, direct mail and front-end digital artworkfrom initial idea generation to implementation.The success of the business relied on my dedication to learning new skills andsharpening creative tools to keep the brand as a forerunner in the window stylings industry. Consequently, helped the business save money by discovering effective communicative solutions, which assisted with external marketing and internal communication.
Junior Graphic Designer
In this role I assisted the Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer in the creationof a wide range of branding and advertising materials for print and digital. This requiredme to utilise my knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite as well as learn Quark Xpress.I helped the agency introduce digital solutions to their service offering, including best practice web design, pixel-perfect retina size imagery and social media campaigns. This is where I also cut my teeth with learning WordPress - developing wire-frame sketches into fully functional websites on the platform.In this role I also had direct daily contact with clients through e-mail, phone calls andface-to-face meetings. Additionally, I was in regular communication with a range oflocal suppliers, including paper-based and display printers.
