As a Store Keeper, I take care of following responsibilities :-• To reports, document and track damages and discrepancies on orders received.• To receive and store documents and confidential files, maintaining records of approved documentation and confidential file destructions.• To track surplus property and prepare lists of items to be sold at auction.• To maintain responsibility for the shipping of cancelled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.• To maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.• To exercise general control over all activities in stores department.• To ensure safe keeping of quality and quantity of materials.• To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches minimum fixed levels.• To initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.• To check and receive purchased materials from the receiving department and arrange for appropriate storage.• To participate in the physical counting and scanning of items during inventory
