Volunteer highlight: Eight years of nights and weekends as president / construction lead for a Habitat for Humanity affiliate, helping qualifying families build and move into a house they now call "home."So What Do I Do All Day?- Minimize production risks and reduce costs - Maintain close working relationships with maintenance supervisors, department leads and work planners to manage stocking levels of essential parts based on need, lead time and availability- Establish and maintain win/win relationships with key suppliers and contractors- Find and fix cost issues with Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable- Schedule and manage raw material used in production- Coordinate delivery of raw materials- Maintain sufficient stock levels to support production 24/7 - Order large job parts in kits for easier management and quicker parts access when needed Doing the daily stuff really well- Post received parts to work orders- Receive and post documents to Purchase orders using SAP- Enter requisitions for MRO parts, daily supplies and services- And more stuff too boring to list here
