Being part of this new design team with new and old faces to create an efficient and knowledge sharing environment.My duties consist of - To design a Fire system in accordance with BCA and Australian Standards.- Take a project from inception to full 3D design and coordinated ready for construction.- Develop 3D design using Revit, AutoCAD, AutoSprink.- Perform Hydraulic Calculation using AutoSprink.- Attend weekly meeting using Navisworks to coordinate design with all trades.- Create fabrication sheets within 3D software.- Create fabrication sheets manually for pumprooms and valverooms.- Communicate with managers on project progression to ensure budgets are maintained.- Have thorough knowledge of project specifications and FER to ensure design is within contract agreements.- Help project managers with documentation of variations.- Continually develop new ways to design and develop documentation in all aspects of the project to help create an efficient team.- In constant communication with sprinkler and alarm fitters to make sure they are on track with install and give them all the information/support they need to install efficiently.- Work closely with project manager to keep them informed with all design/install documentation- Collate all design and Install documentation to create O&M manuals.
