I start to be involved in waterjet field in 1985.My first contact with the technology was with a custom made ABB cutting cell, using an Asea robot (old brand name for ABB) and a Flow pump.I move then the manufacturer of that cutting cell, Be.Co Engineering.Be.Co Engineering was, at that time, the sole agent for Flow International in Italy.I was in charge of the tech office as well customer care.In the later years of the company, we switch to Ingersoll Rand pump (today KMT).For an extremely short time I was working for the Chemit, the agent of AUTOCLAVE Engineers, developping the market of waterjet components.I had then a contract in a company called OEM. Plan was to engineer XY waterjet systems using IR Streamline pumps.In 1993 I had the first contacts with FLOW Europe (European branch of Flow International).I stay with Flow Europe until mid 1998, during this time I took care of the customer service in Italy (in the later years in Europe too).I start in middle 1998 a company called Flowtech Engineering (later renamed Novajet).We build more than few waterjet systems (XY and robots), using IR pumps.Market was ready for "compatible"​ waterjet parts. So the adventure of WSP (aka Waterjet Special Parts) starts in 2002.I start drawing compatible parts of waterjet equipments.As a company we manage to develop our own process of fatigue and material stress.My first goal was building a 2litre 60000psi pressure attenuator, which meets the CE97//23 PED rules, and having TUV certifying this.I should say: I'm pretty proud of this...More or less in the same time we were building our intensifier pump, as well all the ancillaries parts, like cutting heads and so on.In 2009, a more suited company comes in, Fenix Waterjet.During this time I've developed a certain degrees of skill in 3D drafting, using SolidEdge.
