G. Finale was born Corey Johnson on September 22nd, in the Bronx, New York. His inspiration to perform came at the age of 13 after listening to Loungin by L.L. Cool J. Shortly after, he began writing, rapping and dancing, skills he would later use when he joined Teens in Motion, a non-profit organization based in Bronx, N.Y, where he learned how to put all that raw talent to use. The troupe performed at many settings, including the White House and The United Nations. But it wasn’t until a performance at Long Island University, where Corey, feeling the energy and appreciation of the crowd, decided right then and there that he was determined to make this his career. His credits include featured dancer for Alicia Keys, the MTV Music Awards, and the Soul Train Music Awards to name a few, opening act performances for recording artists, such as Seal and Lil’ Wayne. G. Finale had also been involved in many successful events for night clubs and other venues, including the NFL kick off concert featuring Usher, Keith Urban and Natasha Beddingfield. G. Finale looks to conquer the world of Hip-Hop and become a staple in the music scene.In August of 2009, G. Finale signed with the Pro Found Studios management team, to make his dream a reality. Today, you can usually find G. Finale in the recording studio perfecting his sound for his debut single and soon to follow album. During breaks, he listens to a variety of music genres that include rock, Motown classics, pop, and, of course, hip-hop. “I like all kinds of music,” says G. Finale. “I listen to everybody to educate myself and also to bring a different vibe to my music.”His charming personality, coupled with his boyish good looks, fashionable image and hard lyrics is something that people will take notice of. “I want people to feel the music, not just dance to it or just hear it and call it a day. I want them to remember where they were if they heard it again 20 years from now.”
