Niometrics does cutting-edge work in petabyte-scale deep network analytics. I maintained the internal Wiki documentation, traffic signatures, wrote user guides for the UI visualizations and the release notes document for the whole product.

Member of a team of 20 engineers supporting a heavily regulated client. Day to day operations on 24x7 shift for around 150 AIX 6 installations. Operating system maintenance and installation, software upgrades, storage tasks, monitoring and incident response.

I took a break from the industry to focus on my undergraduate studies.

I implemented an XML-driven web scraping robot that integrated with Velti's Service Delivery Platform, enabling American public library subscribers to manage their items and account via SMS. I also wrote some mail/Web/SMS platform integration for similar clients.

Velti was ahead of its time and a leader in mobile marketing. I was a member of the MVAS (Mobile Value Added Services) support team. I configured, maintained, monitored and updated Apache Tomcat deployments across dev, qa and production Linux environments. I provided customer support for numerous WAP and SMS services and monitored large-scale mobile.

NetPlan was a miniature dialup ISP supporting users mostly in the public sector. I was responsible for maintaining everything: billing, hosting, dialups, domains and registry, backups and customer support.

Internet Hellas was one of the biggest Greek ISPs operating at the time. I was a member of the abuse management team and was mainly responsible for maintaining the spam-ticket database.

ArtTec has been instrumental in the development of core back-end SWIFT systems for clients such as National Bank of Greece, Alpha Bank, Commercial Bank of Greece, ASPIS, Attica Bank, and the Greek Stock Market to name a few. I provided office IT support, training and assisted in systems research for new projects. I've written a web-based host access.
