In addition to my duties as the Quality Engineer, I have taken on responsibility of the Customer Service team at ICOR and now apply my troubleshooting skills and knowledge of ICOR products to help police forces around the world keep their robots operational.

Involved in multi-disciplinary teams ranging from R&D, Operations, Quality Control, Assembly and Purchasing to maintain, improve or create quality processes to capture quality defects and prevent their reoccurrence.Heavily involved in managing R&D documentation and investigating products that fail quality control inspections to determine root causes.Assigned the tasks of defining and proofing the R&D and Quality Control documentation and procedures required for ISO 9001:2008 registration (successfully completed!).Responsible for administering training material and courses to ICOR employees.

Product designer for remotely controlled EOD/SWAT robots.

Quality Assurance specialist in a project engineering role investigating and evaluating the impact of defects on parts and the performance of the complete product.-Researched and summarized findings from various analytical sources, produced reports and recommended courses of action to fix or reject defect, or accept the part.-Completed investigations and reports within a monitored time metric. Earned positive reviews for the quality of work from customers and was recognized as a top performer, or among the top performers in monthly reviews.-Established as a source of support/mentor for co-workers requiring information or advice with their assigned investigations.-Pursued and completed design jobs to proactively reduce occurences of quality defects based on historical data. Resulted in significant reduction of reported defects as determined through data tracking at the departmental level.-Benefited from the opportunity to learn about manufacturing methods and criteria, as well as part design while formulating testing and acceptance conditions for the resourcing of parts from supplier to supplier.

Member of a small multi-disciplinary team that developed concept technology to the prototype level. -Involved in all stages of development and responsible for the management and organization of full 3D assemblies, all 3D models and the supervision for the creation of 2D drawings.-Involved in the creation of manufacturing and assembly tooling, and contributed to the design of the test rig.-Recognized as a contributor to the complete design of the prototype. Co-authored several patent applications (one issued: WO/2008/092251) and was a key member to the team due to CAD experience.

-Acted as liaison between designer(s) and manufacturing specialists to define 2D drawings of parts.-Assigned to various design teams as a CAD specialist. Produced cross-sections, assembly proofing/clash analysis and 3D wax/plastic lithography concept models.
