Genesis comes with expertise in DEIB, relationship stewardship, and project management. Prior to her role at Conexion, Genesis served in a program management role working with social impact leaders and organizations to design programs and initiatives focused on improving communities around the world at Laurel Studio. In 2021, Genesis became the Program Officer for MIT-Solve overseeing their equity-focused programming and initiatives supporting tech-based entrepreneurs of color to scale their solutions with culturally responsive programming. In addition to her day-to-day work, Genesis develops and hosts community events throughout her hometown Providence, RI centered on arts, culture, and music as a DJ! Genesis is a first-generation Latina and resides in Attleboro, MA and has a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Management from Providence College.
