I was the Lead SharePoint 2010 Farm Administrator and a key SharePoint and .NET developer. In addition to administering the environment, I worked with various internal customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions.Accomplishments included:• Leading the successful migration of the SharePoint 2007 environment to SharePoint 2010. • Implemention of Axceler ControlPoint for reporting and administration.• Designing and developing a SharePoint based application to process requests to update the hospital chargemaster utilizing InfoPath, C#, Business Connectivity Services and SQL Server Reporting Services. • Creating a master page and branding for the internal Team Site portal.• Redesign and migration of various legacy Lotus Notes applications to SharePoint. • Designing the architecture/infrastructure to replace the ColdFusion based intranet with an intranet portal utilizing SharePoint ECM technologies.

Worked closely with the internal IT staff to assess the SharePoint 2007 environment and design a migration plan. Configured a testing SharePoint 2010 farm and performed a successful test migration using a subset of the total production content.

• Moved into a fulltime role as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert.• Led the effort to design and build the infrastructure for MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010; migrated 700 sites and sub sites from SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to MOSS 2007. Migrated 1300 sites from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010.• Created custom themes and Master Pages to brand SharePoint to match the look of corporate intranet portal.• Implemented AvePoint DocAve 5/6 for SharePoint Administration and backup/restore.Examples of applications I’ve built using SharePoint technologies for BCM:• Position control approval system – extremely high visibility project that makes use of a complex InfoPath form, custom webpart and custom approval workflow to process any personnel changes within the entire organization. Project very well received from executive management down to the end-users.• Timesheet submission system, which replaced the former paper system complete with custom approval workflow, InfoPath form and custom webparts developed using C#/.Net.• Two custom call center applications for specialized call centers within the Baylor Clinic.• IT Service Catalog – full suite of InfoPath forms, with approval workflow, enabling users to request various services from IT, many of the forms integrating with the helpdesk system or internal billing system.• Various SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio workflow projects for departments throughout the company

Designed and built infrastructures for several enterprise applications, including SharePoint 2007, VMWare ESX, SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and various smaller systems. Provided level 3 support for more than 800 virtual and physical windows servers including patch management, software/hardware upgrades, performance tuning and documentation. Implemented Windows platform monitoring using NetIQ Appmanager.
