Tutora de un diplomado con Educación Continua entre el Centro Interdisciplinario de Estudios sobre Desarrollo (Cider) de la Universidad de los Andes y la Caja Cooperativa Petrolera (Coopetrol), llamado: "Gerencia de Organizaciones Solidarias". Los retos del siglo XXI plantean la necesidad de transformar las creencias sociales y la práctica de las organizaciones hacia la profundización del trabajo compartido y solidario sobre el individual. Pareciera ser que este será, si no el más importante, sí uno de los componentes éticos centrales de los indicadores de desarrollo social y económico de la población mundial en los próximos tiempos. En este sentido, cerrar las brechas de desigualdad e inequidad en las sociedades plantea a las organizaciones sociales la urgencia de aportar a la compensación con equidad de las personas, especialmente, las más vulnerables. El Centro Interdisciplinario de Estudios sobre Desarrollo (Cider) de la Universidad de los Andes, con más de 40 años de experiencia, reconoce, construye, divulga y aplica conocimientos orientados a promover procesos de desarrollo en los ámbitos local, regional, nacional y global, que conduzcan a ampliar las opciones para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas.

The USAID Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Program is funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to assist developing countries, middle-income countries, emerging markets, sub-Saharan African countries, and Caribbean Basin countries to increase farm production and incomes. The F2F Program promotes sustainable economic growth, food security and agricultural development worldwide. As a Field Officer, Volunteer Coordinator I needed to manage all volunteer on-ground field and support the monitoring & evaluation efforts, and knowledge management activities for the F2F program in Colombia.

Starbucks is working to shrink its environmental footprint and meet the expectations of customers by reducing the waste associated with its business, increasing recycling and promoting reusable cups.Our consultancy aims to answer 1. What are the main factors that drive recycling of a company in the coffee industry?2. What is the presence of Starbucks in EMEA (ownership, licensing or franchise) and what recycling initiatives already exist? Are there any best practices that can be leveraged?3. How can Starbucks scale recycling in EMEA taking into account cultural-historical, political, and economic perspectives ? (EMEA: Europe, Mide East and Africa)

The Conscious Kitchen Den Haag is an initiative that seeks to combat food waste in the Netherlands. Every Thursday volunteers come together in The Hague and start preparing the food that was collected the day before for approximately 85 people. The major provider of collected food is The Hague Market, but the Mikros and other local greengrocers also provide abundant quantities.Our vision is that we create a community that cares about the world around them.
