Global Marketing Director
CurrentDevelop and execute global strategic marketing plans, built on a foundation of intentional brand management to drive growth in target markets, regions, and marquee product lines. Serve as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, including representation in quarterly business reviews, acquisitions, and global strategic visioning initiatives. Leverage market research and customer engagement to provide insight and directional guidance for the business and trusted advisorship to our client base. Foster cross-functional relationships with Engineering and Sales to align on business objectives and develop multi-channel demand/lead generation campaigns that clearly and consistently articulate customer value. Leverage marketing automation tools to develop, distribute, monitor, measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives spanning all distribution channels and refine strategy as needed. Manage divisional trade show, social media, and web site presence to establish a sound thought leadership position and drive brand awareness in target markets, including SEO to increase search ranking and site traffic. Guide a team of marketing professionals and external service providers to deliver on time and within budget.In addition to primary responsibilities to the business, I also spent two years as part of a small team tasked with developing a vision and executing on a strategy to spin off a new business from our existing structure, building highly technical centrifuge equipment to enable the work of researchers in cell and gene therapy. This combined my background in Biology with my skills in market analysis and brand management to cultivate a new brand, capable of rapidly gaining traction in the market.
