As a speaker, consultant and workshop facilitator, I help businesses and individuals create positive transformational change, including greater productivity, connection and effectiveness in their teams. Leveraging 20 years of corporate change and communications experience, I help make change more palatable by focusing on the opportunities created by the transitions and the “What’s in It for Me?” for stakeholders. My passion is setting up internal change management capacity to enable long-term change agility. After experiencing significant personal and professional change and loss, I've come out the other side and am happier and healthier than ever before! My own successful personal transformation journey has led me to coach teams and other leaders, especially those who have been through a major life event (divorce, layoff, other significant loss, health challenge, relocation etc.) and want to use this change as a catalyst to transform their lives.As a personal transformation mentor and through my "What's My Purpose?" online coaching program, I help people in a change or career crisis create a life they actually WANT to live.

Led organizational change management for large customer service portal implementation.

Independent contractor for coaching, speaking and change management projects.

Built an internal Change Management Office and concurrently led change management efforts for large-scale process and technology transformation, including the successful deployment of three Salesforce implementations while advising on a concurrent Workday deployment. Developed and deployed new Change Agility Strategy and Toolkit for 3,000 employees; saved $1m annually through business process improvement.

With two others, built an internal Change Management Office to facilitate a successful high profile, large-scale change effort that had failed 17 previous times; replaced an eight-person external consulting team and saved $1m per year, while empowering 55 internal leaders to manage change in their respective business units and transitioning 18,000 employees from various legacy systems to three simple, global systems during a major merger with EMC.

With another consultant, built a multi-million-dollar change practice from scratch including a utility-specific methodology and templates; Successfully road-tested each deliverable with multiple clients for customer information system upgrades; Trained Change Leads to expand the team. Provided management consulting services in Organizational Readiness, Organizational Alignment, Communications, Training and Support, and Stakeholder Management, Engagement and Sponsorship. Led the Organizational Change Management work stream on large-scale Customer Information System (CIS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology projects for utilities. Developed and facilitated internal and external training workshops related to people, leadership and change. Workshops delivered virtually and in a classroom setting. Provided executive coaching.

Improved skills in social media, marketing and public speaking through a variety of small projects.

Leading an external consulting team for an internal change office, provided strategic and tactical leadership in planning, design and implementation of global outsourcing of multiple business functions.

Led change initiatives for the largest (at the time) ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) SAP implementation for a large utilities company. As Communications Specialist for an ERP SAP implementation for a major school district, affecting 1,042 schools, 906,000+ students, and 80,000+ employees. Oversaw training activities for 16,000+ end users on one of California's most successful technology integration projects, streamlining a social services process; recognized for excellence with Applause Award. Wrote change and training plans for a large state government organization.

Spokesperson and consultant for $150m central govt-sponsored project promoting take up of e-gov initiatives: Directgov.co.uk, a one-stop shop for local and central government services to UK citizens, through its flagship digital service, a citizen-focused referral portal and ENCORE National Project, ODPM, UK. Led communication efforts for a pilot project to e-enable environmental services to citizens and connect local authorities with Directgov in new ways; Promoted the ENCORE project and Directgov to senior strategic and technical local and central government staff members across the country.

Supported marketing and change management efforts for $6m Valuebill National Project sponsored by the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) enabling three-way electronic exchange of property data by government organizations - increasing council tax collection (revenue) by $72m nationally. Coordinated project marketing with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM), a key sponsor, in order to promote national take-up of the initiative. Managed creation of promotional materials including a promotional video, newsletters, info packs and brochures, and website updates; making presentations at regional experience sharing and information workshops.

Worked with a consultant to produce a Fundraising Feasibility Study to increase College national and international visibility and to promote $60m capital campaign for Will Alsop-designed New Arts Complex.Identified, researched and established $200,000 corporate sponsorships (The Times, BT, Moet, Beck’s Beer) for “Year of Goldsmiths” through high-profile reception launch at the Saatchi Gallery.Built and maintained relationships with potential major donors and key strategic partners.

Reputation Diplomacy is a boutique consultancy primarily serving the diplomatic and educational community. Created and implemented a marketing communication plan that increased business by 50 percent.Successfully pitched services to and advised businesses, embassies and schools on a range of branding, marketing and reputation management issues.Provided services to clients including the governments of Latvia, Republic of Barbados and Serbia and Montenegro.

Increased membership and donations by 200 percent by creating and implementing a marketing plan including direct marketing, telemarketing, events and corporate sponsorships; Solicited and maintained the largest corporate sponsorship contracts (including Borders Books); Recruited, developed and managed staff of 30 volunteers and interns; Developed and hosted peak evening drive time show including the "Mystery Composer Contest". Increased listenership by 30 percent; Created innovative radio programming that increased mailing list by 20 percent per month at no cost.

Designed and taught university courses including public speaking, interpersonal and group communication; Designed and taught high school careers and internship course for Berrien County Math and Science Center. Helped selected students get accepted to ivy league universities as a result of their internships and careers advising.
