Experimental investigation towards practical application of flat-plate pulsating heat pipes (PHPs), an alternative and interesting kind of heat pipe used for super efficient heat transfer. PHPs can be applied for electronics cooling in high tech systems. This was my MSc graduation assignment for Mechanical Engineering, University of Twente. The research resulted in two published conference papers and an article in the international Journal of Heat Transfer (141). I presented the work at the international 2017 Therminic conference in Amsterdam.

Design and development of parts for vacuum research setup at Brazilian physics laboratory. The setup used three different kind of pumps to reach the ultra-high vacuum stage, which was required to obtain the work function of materials. This setup was used in a PhD research.After the internship, I took the opportunity to solo-travel Latin America for 2 months.

Design of a specialized toolbag for the rope-access blade team of Vestas Benelux. BSc Graduation project Industrial Design, University of Twente. This individual project included the complete design project from scratch, up to the delivery of a functioning prototype. This fulltime internship was carried out at the office of Vestas in Arnhem (NL), with regular visits to wind turbines and a rope access training facility. Two prototypes were manufactured at Halfar System GmbH (Bielefeld, Germany) and finally a usability test was performed at the MAX Safety training facility in Arnhem. Based on the results of indoor testing, Vestas ordered two additional and improved prototypes for further development of the product.

ZOZO Enschede was a large club, located on the Old Market in Enschede (NL). I played here as a DJ on club nights. City cafe 'De Geus' was established in the same building. For both companies I designed graphic material: banners on the building front, activity announcing posters and menus.
