Worked in Ads Quality Testing team and due to the internal technology transition in google, the integration tests for one specific sub-system in Ads need to be rewritten in order to run on the new infrastructure. Wrote the whole integration test suite for the system in Ads system and put the tests into testing production software.

Worked in the COINCOMO (COnstructive INcremental COst MOdel) group, on the software COINCOMO 2.0. Added new functions to the existing COINCOMO 2.0 software, using Java, such as importing projects from exported CSV (Comma-Separated Values) files. In addition, re-invented the COINCOMO CSV exporting format, making it easy for both manual modification and software parsing, and created JSON format for transmitting COINCOMO information over internet. Developed prototype COINCOMO web service using RESTful framework Jersey in Java.

Designed both the front end and the database structure of the equipment management system for this government institute, based on Browser/Server structure, using MySQL Database, Java Servlet framework, Struts and ORM framework Hibernate. The system is deployed on the tomcat server of National Disaster Reduction Center of China.

Working with another graduate student, on the topic about complex software network. Write analytic tools anlysing the geometrical properties of network structure of Linux kernels, from version 1.0 to 2.4. The research is to associate special software network structure with the fault tolerance property of software.
