Internship Trainee
During my summer internship with the Jeddah Storm Water Program, managed by Jeddah Municipality in collaboration with Worley, I gained hands-on experience across three key departments: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Planning, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA). This program, which is regularly discussed in monthly Royal Court meetings, plays a critical role in protecting Jeddah from flooding risks. In HSE, I conducted safety audits and field inspections at major sites like Al Firdous and Abul Jadayel, ensuring compliance with health and environmental standards. In Planning, I supported project scheduling and resource management, working with tools like Microsoft Project to track progress and KPIs, such as cost, safety, and quality. In QC/QA, I participated in field inspections, verifying the quality of drainage systems, reinforcing steel mesh, PRDs, and manholes.By the end of the internship, I was awarded certificates of completion from both Jeddah Municipality and Worley for my contributions to this nationally significant infrastructure program.
